That said, in my experience as a Santa Cruz real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.

This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.

Teresa's Background

I am a native Californian who had the wonderful fortune of growing up in the Aptos/La Selva Beach area with my family. I attended Aptos High School and worked for several local businesses in my youth.

Like many Santa Cruzans, I found it necessary to commute over the hill to be able to purchase a home here. I spent 15 years working for one company as a retail manager and supervisor with a strong emphasis in marketing.

At a young age I was drawn to real estate, purchasing my first fixer-upper at 25, selling it for a profit in 6 months. This allowed me to buy my second fixer-upper, a classic Santa Cruz Craftsman home, which I restored. I am now close to finishing my third fixer-upper in a great family neighborhood, with my eye on the next project.

In 1996 I took a big step and started a marketing firm here in Santa Cruz. We cater to the Real Estate industry and small businesses. We have a wonderful group of talented artists and programmers, and the company now runs itsself.

With my passion for real estate I obtained my Real Estate license and have been sharing my knowledge, experience, and local connections with others. If you are looking to purchase, sell, 1031 exchange, or need help to avoid a foreclosure or capitol gains, it would be an honor to assist you.

Marketing Director

A native Santa Cruzan, Kristi graduated from Santa Cruz High and then from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in design and technology for theatre. She moved away to pursue this career and designed lighting for live theatre productions throughout the bay area. With the advent of the internet, she transitioned into website design and graphic design for small businesses and was happy to be able to do design in her hometown. After teaming up with Teresa over 12 years ago, they began to design marketing products for the real estate industry.

Kristi is the co-owner of Stella Media; a high-end real estate marketing firm based in Santa Cruz and serving the greater bay area. For almost 10 years, Kristi personally managed and improved marketing material standards on the web and in print for the real estate industry. Stella Media provided the highest quality videos, virtual tours, photography, flyers, postcards, ad design and much more.

Kristi now dedicates her time and talents solely to Marlow Properties in Santa Cruz.

Kristi is excited to continue to provide the highest quality marketing available to Marlow Properties using ever-advancing technologies. Currently she coordinates everything from photography, video, print materials and advertising. Her artistic talents are also utilized for staging, landscape design, and color consultation for every Marlow Properties client. Including both sellers as well as home buyers.
